PHOENIX, Ariz. - The NM State softball team (12-13) pushed across 21 runs on 26 hits in a 6-3 win over Southern Utah and a 15-2 win over Idaho State at the GCU Invitational Saturday afternoon in Phoenix, Ariz.

The Aggie bats caught fire at just the right time, as they pushed across six runs in the final inning to erase a three-run deficit to defeat the Southern Utah Thunderbirds. Maya Martinez started off the seventh inning with a leadoff double, and she would score thanks to a Thunderbird error.
