LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia announced Sunday afternoon that head women's soccer coach Freddy Delgado's contract will not be renewed.

Delgado finished his tenure at New Mexico State with an overall record of 24-55-4 and 12-19-3 in Western Athletic Conference play after four seasons at the helm, fifth overall with the program. He recently wrapped up the 2017 season with a 9-10-2 overall record and 3-3-1 mark in WAC play.

Delgado became the all-time wins leader for New Mexico State on Saturday, Aug. 26, of this year when the Aggies defeated Alcorn state 8-0 – passing his predecessor Blair Quinn (17-35-8).
