Box Score BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The New Mexico State women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 road decision to CSU Bakersfield in Western Athletic Conference play on Sunday afternoon.
"It was a very similar game to Friday night, I feel like the girls battled," said head coach Rob Baarts. "We had those two deflection goals go against us early and it's hard to play from behind like that so early."
The Aggies (2-15, 1-6 WAC) almost got the scoring going first but a shot from Emma Smith in the 9th minute was saved.
