LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf team is all set for the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz., on April 5 and 6. This is the Aggies' first tournament since the Wildcat Invitational on March 8 and 9.
"These final two events coming up in Phoenix and Albuquerque are important for us," said head coach Danny Bowen. "We want to use this to build some momentum heading into the WAC Championship at the end of the month."
The Aggies are no strangers to the par-72, 6,131-yard course, capturing the team title at the event in 2014 while Pun Chanachai won the individual crowd in 2019, shooting 69-67-72 – 208 (-8).
