LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's basketball team added two transfers, head coach Brooke Atkinson announced on Tuesday morning.
The Aggies added two transfer forwards with 6-2 Kayla Watkins and 6-3 Bigue Sarr set to join the squad for the 2021-22 season.
Watkins, a Weber State transfer, played in 74 games for the Wildcats and averaged 8.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Her best year came in 2018-19 when the Seattle native averaged 12.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Coming out of high school, Watkins was rated a three star recruit by ESPN.
