LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State volleyball closed out the NM State SpringHill Suites Invitational with a 3-1 win over UNLV. The Aggies won in four sets 23-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-17 to snap a three-match losing streak.
"It's been a rough weekend for us. Our confidence was a bit shaken after North Dakota made that comeback on us. I thought we took a step forward in our match against UCLA and I told the team that before the match today," head coach Mike Jordan said. "To beat a Mountain West team on our floor, to knock [UNLV] off, a team that made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament last season, they're no joke.
