EL PASO, Texas – The NM State volleyball team grinded out a gritty win Wednesday afternoon when it battled back to defeat Battle of I-10 rival, UTEP, 25-20, 18-25, 23-25, 26-24, 15-12 in Memorial Gym.
"Glad we were able to come back from down 2-1 and overcome all of our attack errors," Aggie head coach said. "Fortunately our block came alive and scored for us in the fifth set."
How it happened
With the Aggies trailing UTEP in the first set 12-10, NM State rallied for four-straight points to take a 14-12 lead and never looked back.
