LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's and women's cross country teams open the 2017 season with a pair of meets this weekend. The men's and women's teams split up with one squad going head-to-head with the Texas Tech in Ruidoso, N.M., on Friday, Sept. 1, and other competing at the Lobo Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., on Saturday, Sept. 2.
"I'm very excited about the upcoming season, and to see what the future holds for the Aggie cross country teams!" head coach Doug Reynolds said. "Coach [Joseph] Rath returns a more seasoned women's team this year, who did a great job in their off-season summer training.
