SEATTLE – The New Mexico State men's tennis team is one match closer from clinching its third-straight Western Athletic Conference regular-season title on Friday when it routed Seattle U 7-0 at Championship Field Tennis Courts.
The Aggies (12-5, 3-0 WAC) swept doubles action with the wrecking crew of Christofer Goncalves and Luis Flores finishing first, followed by NM State's No. 3 and No. 2 doubles team.
Stijn de Haan made it a 2-0 edge for NM State with the 6-3, 6-1 beating of John Stormans at the No. 3 slot.
