PEARLAND, Texas – The New Mexico State men's golf team completed play at the two-day, three-round Bayou City Collegiate Classic on Tuesday at the Golfcrest Country Club. At the end of 54 holes the Aggies carded a team score of 297-296-297—890 (+26) to finish in 12th place.
Among the NM State golfers, Mike McGilton led the squad firing a 75-69-76—220 (+4) to tie for 22nd. This was followed two strokes behind by Cameron Gambini who shot a 77-73-72—222 (+6). McGilton and Smith led the Aggies and tied for fourth in the tournament field with a par 3 score of 2.
