@NMStateMGolf in Fifth After Shortened Opener at Pro Compression Invite

RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. – The New Mexico State men's golf team concluded a shortened day one of tournament play due to darkness at the Pro Compression Invitational on Monday. After completing the first round, the Aggies have an unofficial score of 308 (+20) that puts the team in fifth place out of 10 teams heading into the final day.

Individual play for NM State was led by Niall Powell who fired a 76 (+4) to sit in a tie for 21st through 18 holes. A pair of Aggies – Garrison Smith and Tadhg Campbell – each shot a 77 (+ 5) to tie for 30th to follow Powell.
