TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State men's golf team completed day one of the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Ariz. Through 36 holes of play, the team holds a combined score of 584 (+8) to sit in a tie for 11th place out of 16 teams.

NM State is led by Isaac Merry who paces the team with scores of 71-69—140 (-4) which puts the junior in 13th. After two rounds, Merry leads the Aggies and is tied for third in the field firing 10 birdies and the Las Cruces native also shot the sole eagle for the team on Monday.
