ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – On Sunday night, April 7, head coach Brian Green and the New Mexico State baseball team were recognized as the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame College Team of the Year. The team was honored with the six "Class of 2018" inductees at the 46th Annual Induction Banquet at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Following the banquet coach Green said, "What an incredible honor for the players, coaches and support staff for the 2018 team. To be recognized as the College Sports Team of the Year was simply awesome. We take tremendous pride in being able to put positive recognition out for New Mexico State Athletics and the entire University.
