The New Mexico State baseball team enjoyed a historical season in 2016, posting the best year-to-year win improvement in the in country, while having three players selected in the MLB Draft. One of those drafted was junior pitcher, Joe Galindo. Galindo, a Junior College transfer, and a native of nearby El Paso, TX, had a season to remember on the mound for the Aggies. Galindo finished the 2016 campaign with an ERA of 2.48, which was the lowest by an Aggie pitcher since 1972. He also collected a team-high eight saves, which was one shy of the school record.
@NMStateBaseball Alum Joe Galindo Thanks Aggie Fans
