SEATTLE, Wash. - The NM State women's soccer team (4-11-1) came back from two goals down, but Seattle U (10-4-2) prevailed, defeating the Aggies 3-2 Saturday afternoon at Championship Field in Seattle, Wash.
The two teams were scoreless in the first 45 minutes, but the Redhawks struck quickly out of halftime with a goal in the 46th minute. The Redhawks added another goal in the 51st minute, but Jocelyn Tallent-Burleson put a ball just over the outstretched arms of the goalie for her first career goal. The Redhawks answered with a goal of its own in the 74th minute.
