LORMAN, Miss. – The New Mexico State women's soccer team improved to 4-0-1 Monday afternoon following a triumphant 8-0 win over Alcorn State. This is the highest-scoring game for the Aggies in program history.
The last time NM State scored five or more points was on Oct. 15, 2015, when they defeated Chicago State, 5-1. This also marks the fifth time for the program where the Aggies have scored five or more points in a single match.
The Aggies wasted no time out of the gate, scoring the team's first four goals by the 26th minute mark.
