LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State volleyball won its eighth-straight match at the Pan American Center by defeating CSU Bakersfield 3-0 on Thursday night. The Aggies took down the CSUB 25-14, 25-23, 25-14 to win the match against their conference foe.
"We played well. We did a lot of things to force them into some bad spots. We also won a lot of long rallies and that's a key of a good team," head coach Mike Jordan said. "Hannah Combs played well. The plan was to redshirt her but with injuries to Jordan [Abalos] and Brielle [Sterns], we need a real middle in there to score a little bit.
