ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – After securing the Western Athletic Conference regular season title last weekend, the NM State softball team is set to travel to Rio Grande rival New Mexico on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at the Lobo Softball Field for their regular season finale.

The Aggies are 34-19 overall and finished the season 14-1 in conference play after sweeping UMKC last weekend. After a close, 5-4 victory on a rainy Friday night, NM State captured a 7-2 win in game two of the series on Saturday night to secure the conference title.
