ALBUQUERQUE - The New Mexico State track and field team competed in the first day of the Cherry and Silver Invitational on Friday. Keyarha Wilson, LaShya Cole, and Akuadasou Ezenyilimba set new personal records at the meet. The trio's personal bests rank in the top performances all-time at NM State.
"I'm pleased with today's performance," interim coach Larry Carmichael said. "We had many athletes set new personal records at today's meet."
In the field events, Wilson jumped a personal best 1.70m (5-7) in the high jump to claim third place in the event.
