HOUSTON – NM State Track and Field put up a solid performance Friday at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational.
"We were really please with the performance of our team today," said assistant coach Larry Carmichael. "It was good to see all the work our veteran student-athletes put in during the offseason turn into good performances today to start the season. We were really pleased with the way our freshman competed in their first collegiate meet. Now, we can come home and practice and improve upon the performances today, and get better going forward.
