SEATTLE – New Mexico State softball took the series from Seattle U on Saturday. The Aggies defeated the Redhawks 14-6 before closing out the series with a 6-4 win.
Game Two Continued
Bad weather suspended the second game of the series on Friday night. The continuation of the game began in the bottom of the third inning with one out and Samaria Diaz in the circle. She struck out two-straight batters to complete the inning and maintained the Aggies' 6-2 lead.
NM State's (17-17, 5-1) Haley Nakamura singled to start a five-run rally in the fourth.
