As a team, NM State sits just 11 shots off of the lead, chasing Santa Clara. Meiji Tungprapunvong leads the Aggies with a 147 (+3) on the day, finishing tied for 16th.
Western Athletic Conference teams proved to be dominant on the first day of competition with three teams finishing tied for fifth or better.
