DENVER – After leading the team to a 2-1 series win over Grand Canyon last weekend, NM State softball's Corrin Green has been named Western Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week and Kayla Green has been selected as WAC Pitcher of the Week. This is the first honor of the season and the second of her career for C. Green and the first-ever honor for K. Green.
"Kayla stepped up big for us this week and showed a lot of composure as a freshman," said head coach Kathy Rodolph. "Corrin is a very clutch player and she showed that this weekend.
