NM State Sweeps UMKC, Secures WAC Regular Season Title

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NM State softball team used a big seventh inning to come-from-behind and defeat UMKC 7-2 on Saturday in game two of the series to capture the Western Athletic Conference regular season championship before collecting the series sweep with an 11-8 win in the series finale. The Aggies won game one 5-4 on Friday. With the second victory, head coach Kathy Rodolph secured her 600th overall win.

Game One

The Aggies (35-19, 14-1 WAC) scored seven runs and racked up six RBIs on 10 hits. Emma Adams went 2-for-3, scored one run and had one RBI.
