TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's track and field team competed in the first day of the Willie Williams Classic at Arizona's Roy P. Drachman Stadium on Friday.
The Aggies dominated in the 5,000m as the team posted four of the top-five times in the race. Stephanie Quintero led the way for the NM State squad as she placed second with a time of 18:23.30. Karolin Klumb followed the junior by clocking in at 18:24.79 for third. Freshmen Kelli Kirkpatrick (18:33.50) and Ocean Stevens (18:36.78) rounded out the Aggie pack placing fourth and fifth, respectively.
