DENVER – For the second year in a row, the NM State softball team dominated the Western Athletic Conference awards as was named WAC Player of the Year, was selected as Freshman of the Year and head coach was named Coach of the Year. In Addition, , , Finau and Horton were chosen for the First Team, while , , and rounded out the awards with Second Team Honors.
This is the fourth year in a row an Aggie has been named WAC Player of the Year. Additionally, this is the second year in a row and third overall that the team has had a Freshman of the Year and a Coach of the Year selection.
