TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State Aggies opened the Spring season of 2016 with an 11th place finish at the Arizona Intercollegiate that concluded Saturday at the Sewailo Golf Course.
The Aggies posted rounds of 297, 303 and 297 to finish at 897, one stroke behind Utah at 896 in 10th in the powerful 17 team field that featured three nationally ranked teams.
No. 7 Texas won the team title with a 9-under 843, five strokes better than No. 23 Washington at 848 and nine ahead of No. 21 California at 852.
