DENVER - Championship week is here and the NM State women's tennis team is one of upper-tier teams in the 2022 WAC Championship Tournament field.
As announced Saturday evening by the Western Athletic Conference, the Aggies have locked up the second seed for the 2022 WAC Tournament which is set for Friday-Sunday, April 22-24 at the Beaumont Municipal Tennis Center in Beaumont, Texas.
Through the regular season, the Aggies posted a 7-15 record which included a 3-1 mark in WAC matches. The Aggies came alive down the stretch, winning four of their last six dual matches to close out the regular season.
