MAGNOLIA, Texas – After trailing by as much as nine strokes during the second round of action, NM State used steady play on the back nine to battle its way back on Tuesday at High Meadow Ranch Golf Club. The Aggies combined to score seven birdies across the final nine holes to enter Wednesday's championship round three under par and just two strokes off the lead.
Sophomore standout Emma Bunch continued to prove why she is one of the top golfers in the country as she recorded a second-round score of 70 (-2) to enter the final 18 holes six under par – a number that puts her three shots clear of the field.
