• After breaking their three game losing streak with an impressive defensive performance versus their old WAC foe California Baptist, the Aggies look to forward to moving to 2-0 in Conference USA and winning their first road game of the season.
• The Aggies won 63-53 to I-10 rivals UTEP in another impressive defensive performance on Thursday evening. With the win, Hooten's group goes to 7-1 at home this year and open conference play 1-0.
• NM State will collide with FIU for its second game of conference play this season, the Panthers are currently coming off a road loss versus Jax State 63-70 on Saturday in their conference opener.
