EDINBURG, Texas - There is now just one Western Athletic Conference team without a loss in league play in the 2021 season.
NM State made sure of that, claiming an emphatic 6-1 WAC triumph over Seattle U Friday afternoon at the Orville I. Cox Tennis Center on the campus of UTRGV.

• Corey Clarke and Martin Simecek set the tone from the get-go, claiming a one-sided 6-1 victory in flight two of tandem play.
• Though the Redhawks were able to equalize things with a 6-3 victory on the top line, Louis Menard and Petr Stavrovskij made sure NM State wouldn't lose its grip in the doubles point.
