LAHAINA, Hawai'i – Against a field full of nine teams within Golfstat's Top 100 rankings, the NM State women's golf team held its own and finished seventh at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic. Throughout the three-day event, the Aggies show 872 (+8) as a team, just three shots behind BYU.
With a pair of late birdies, Emma Bunch climbed into a tie for eleventh place, shooting 214 (-2) over the three-day event. Alison Gastelum finished just one shot behind Bunch in a tie for thirteenth.
Much like Gastelum and Bunch, Valentina Origel and Kaylee Chen were grouped together on the leaderboard.
