NM State finishes 11th at Wildcat Invitational

TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State Aggies played three steady rounds on the way to an 11th place finish at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational on Tuesday.

The Aggies posted rounds of 297, 302 and 297 for a final score of 896, three strokes better than 12th place Kansas at 899 and one stroke behind Colorado in 10th at 895. New Mexico placed 15th at 911.

NM State was paced by the play of junior Camille Orito from Fresno, Calif./Clovis West, who tied for 25th individually at 6-over-par 222. Orito carded a 2-over 74 in the final round on Tuesday, after recording an even-par 72 and a 4-over 76 on Monday.
