LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Junior Jordan Abalos led the New Mexico State volleyball team with a career-high 19 kills as the Aggies fell 21-25, 25-19, 16-25, 20-25 to Arizona in the final contest of the Borderland Invitational at the Pan American Center.
"The first set got away from us," said head coach Mike Jordan. "We had 17 kills to their 13, and we made a couple of ball handling errors late that cost us. If we could have gotten that win, we could have gone up 2-0 after the break and I would have liked our chances.
