LAS VEGAS - The NM State women's tennis team got its three-match road trip off to a good start by winning the doubles point at UNLV, but the host Rebels swept the singles matches to earn a 6-1 victory Thursday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
• After falling behind, the Aggie battled back to secure the doubles point. Chloe Gavino and Bella Nguyen countered a 6-2 win by UNLV on the top line by posting a 6-4 victory over the duo of Sam Smith and Connie Li on the middle line.
