LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's volleyball team earned a United States Marine Corps and American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the Fall 2021 season, the AVCA announced on Monday.
This is the fifth-straight year in which the Aggies have received the award. The award was started during the 1992-93 academic award and is given to collegiate and high school volleyball teams that maintain a 3.30 cumulative team GPA.
In addition to their success in the classroom, the Aggies had an impressive year on the court where they posted an overall record of 19-10 while finishing 10-4 in WAC play to capture their third-straight WAC Regular Season title.
