LAS CRUCES, N.M. – For the fourth straight running of the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, NM State has claimed the team championship. The Aggies bested Incarnate Word by nine strokes to finalize their first victory of the season. Over 54 holes, NM State shot an 833 (-19). As a team in the final round, NM State shot a 285 (+1) as the tournament drew to a close.
Javier Delgadillo ran away with the individual championship, firing a 203 (-10). The sophomore from El Paso separated himself from teammate Alexandre Bauduin over the final round.
