TUCSON, ARIZ. – After two days and three rounds of play at the Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz., New Mexico State men's golf finished in 14th place out of 18 teams. NM State finished with a score of 919 (+67).
Jack Snyder paced the team with scores of 78-77-69—224 (+11) which put the freshman in a tie for 29th. Snyder's score of 69 in round three was a team-best. Luis Medina finished next with rounds of 75-79-74, good for a total of 228 (+15), which placed him in a tie for 49th.
