SAN MARCOS, TEXAS - New Mexico State track and field competed in the second day of the Bobcat Invitational on Friday.
On the track, Crissey Amberg won the 5,000m as the junior ran a new personal best and finished the event with a time of 17:07.26. Cassey Amberg also ran a new personal best the 5K as she clocked in with a time of 17:50.89. Julia Yescas competed in the 1,500m and finished seventh with time of 4:48.23. In the 400m hurdles, Nia Garcia won her heat and placed 10th overall as she clocked in at 1:04.
