LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State wrapped up the regular season with a Senior Day matchup on Sunday against Grand Canyon at the NM State Tennis Center. After three hours of action, GCU defeated the Aggies 7-0.
DOUBLES
- Seniors Bella Nguyen and Miranda Bishard nearly battled back to defeat Anali Kocevar and Madeline Lamoreaux, however, the duo ultimately fell 7-5 but would be the Aggie duo with the best showing in doubles action.
SINGLES
- In singles, Anna Pinaieva, Lisa Zhu and Dora Kordi each split their opening two sets to force a tiebreaker or third set, yet the Lopes would get the best of the Aggies in all six singles matches.
