LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Head coach Mike Kirby has once again dipped into the California talent pool and announced the addition of Adam Arroyo from Golden West College. Arroyo, a Capistrano Valley, California native, will be a redshirt sophomore when he arrives on campus for the Aggies in the fall.
Earlier this summer, it was announced that Arroyo was a Second Team All-Orange Empire Conference selection. Arroyo hit .324 in 25 games for Golden West this season, adding six home runs and 24 RBI. The catcher finished the season on a hot-streak, recording at least one hit in each of the final five games of the season.
