LAS CRUCES, N.M. – An additional player has signed a National Letter of Intent for the NM State football team, announced head coach Doug Martin. Payton Theisler will join the 24 other signees on the 2016 Aggie team.
Theisler is a 5'10, 165 lbs. punter from Phoenix, Ariz. He played at Desert Vista HS under Dan Hinds. Theisler is the No. 1 rated punter in the class of 2016 by Prokicker and has a 4.5 star ranking by Kohl's Kicking. He was selected to the All-City First Team in Phoenix as a punter. As a senior, Theisler averaged 40.
