WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. –New Mexico State football and men's basketball play-by-play broadcaster and US Bank/NM State Hall of Famer Jack Nixon took home the National Sports Media Association Sportscaster of the Year for the state of New Mexico for the third-straight year.
This is the fifth time Nixon has earned national sportscaster of the year recognition after earning the same accolade in 1980, 2013, 2017 and 2018.
Nixon, in his 40th season with Aggie Athletics, has been a constant throughout the years for Aggie fans and has had the call on various memorable moments in NM State history.
