Wideout Teldrick Morgan and quarterback Andrew Allen are no longer with the New Mexico State football team, sports information director Bill Powers confirmed Friday.
Morgan, who had a team-best 44 receptions for 543 yards and four touchdowns in nine games as a junior last season, is on track to graduate in May and could play elsewhere in the fall as a graduate transfer.
Allen played in eight games as a sophomore after starting quarterback Tyler Rogers suffered a broken thumb. Allen was 115-of-214 passing for 1,529 yards with 16 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Allen was practicing at wide receiver prior to Rogers’ injury.
