DALLAS – Following a dominant weekend as a team, one Aggie individual has received further recognition as Mira Tinani has been named the WAC Diver of the Week following a pair of podium finishes.
The award highlights an exceptional freshman season for Tinani who has been the Aggies' leader on the boards many times this year. Last weekend, Tinani logged a second-place finish in the 3-meter dive with a score of 262.95 while also placing third in 1-meter event after posting a score of 254.18 as the Aggies defeated New Mexico 198-93.
This marks the first weekly award for the Aggies this season and the first since Aimee Burton was named WAC Swimmer of the Week on Jan.
