ALBUQUERQUE – The New Mexico State men's tennis team shined on Saturday in the second day of the Balloon Fiesta, winning 10-of-12 singles matches and took down New Mexico's No. 1 doubles team 6-0.
The pair of Cristofer Goncalves and freshman Luis Pliego Flores continued their tear on opponents as UNM's No. 1 doubles team fell victim 6-0. However, the Lobos exacted revenge with wins in flight No. 2 and No. 3 of doubles over the Aggies.
Goncalves refuses to lose in singles play as the junior reeled off another two wins on Saturday, bumping his win-streak to seven.
