COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – The New Mexico State men's golf squad shot a five-under 283 on the second day of competition at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational to remain in seventh place out of 19 teams. Through 36 holes the Aggies have shot an impressive 289-283—572 (-4) and sit just sit one stroke out of the top-five.
Play on day two for the Aggies was led by freshman Taylor Stote who totaled seven birdies for a round-two score of 66 (-6). The stellar day for the rookie brought his 36-hole total to 138 (-6) and moved him into a tie for fourth.
