Men’s Golf in Fifth Through Day One of WAC Championship

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The New Mexico State men's golf team wrapped up the first round of action at the Western Athletic Conference Championship. The Aggies recorded a pair of eagles on day one, the only two of the tournament, and finished with a team score of 291 (+11) to sit in fifth place.

Isaac Merry contributed one of the eagles and fired an even-par, 70, to sit in a tie for third on the individual leaderboard. Tristin Goodwin followed behind with a round one score of 73 (+3) and is tied for 16th.
