DENVER – New Mexico State men's tennis sophomore was named this week's Western Athletic Conference Singles Player of the Week after going undefeated in Las Vegas this past weekend.
This is the first weekly honor for NM State during the dual season this year and first for Menard this season as well.
The Annecy, France, product first opened up with a comeback victory against UNLV's Eric Samuelsson 3-6, 6-3, 6-1. Menard then followed up with an easy 6-2, 6-1 win against UC Riverside's Vignesh Subramanyan before wrapping up the weekend with a hard-fought 7-6, 6-3 win against Hawaii's Lucas Labrunie to clinch the win for NM State.
