MCALLEN, Texas – Amelia McKee is the running for the individual title at the UTRGV Invitational.
The Aggie sophomore fired a one-under 143 across the opening two rounds of action and is tied for first headed into tomorrow's final round of play. She followed up her first-round total of one-over 73 with a two-under 70 over the final 18 holes Monday at McAllen Country Club.
The Spring, Texas, native's hot start has the Aggies sitting in second place with an overall team score of 21-over 597. NM State is three shots off the Incarnate Word's lead entering the third round.
